Greetings, my name is Peter Harding, and I am the Early Learning Director of TSL Kids Crew at the Syracuse location. "I believe the children are our future. Teach them well and let them lead the way. Show them all the beauty they possess inside. Please give them a sense of pride to make it easier. Let the children's laughter remind us how we used to be" ~Whiney Houston.
Children naturally gravitated toward me as far back as I can remember. My early childhood path began in September 2016, when I started attending Curry College, where I was a Preschool Assistant Teacher for their early childhood center. I obtained my bachelor's degree in child, youth, and community education at Curry College with a dual concentration in early care and school-age education. When I graduated in 2011, I worked as 1st Grade Afterschool Teacher and 2nd Grade Summer Camp Teacher for Brooklyn Friends School.
After working at Brooklyn Friends School, I decided to switch paths from early childhood to higher education. In 2011, I obtained a job as an Academic Consultant at Syracuse University, working for the Collegiate, Science, and Technology Entry Program. After working two years in the higher education field, I realized I missed being in early childhood, so I decided to be a Preschool Head Start Teacher for Peace, Inc. Being a teacher for a couple of years, I decided to hang up my shoes as an educator for little ones and decided I wanted to be an educator to people who are early childhood teachers. In 2018, I became a daycare director for Lydia's Lullaby Daycare Center. In 2022, I joined TSL Kids Crew as an Early Learning Director and have enjoyed it.
