Please excuse the mess...the children are making memories
Find out why so many Capital Region families choose TSL Kids Crew to provide daycare for their youngest children. With a daily curriculum, experienced teachers and nine convenient locations (including Troy, Rotterdam, Guilderland, Scotia, Albany, Bethlehem/Delmar and Syracuse), your kids will love learning and growing with other children from the area. Our Troy location is a QUALITYstarsNY center. Learn more with our daycare pricing and FAQs below, or contact us with any question you have. We'd love to give you a tour so you can experience the center firsthand.
TSL presently offers nine daycare programs. In Guilderland, East Greenbush (TBA), Troy, Scotia, and Syracuse our daycare provides care for ages 6 weeks through 5 years old. In Albany, North Colonie, Bethlehem (Delmar) and Rotterdam, our daycare provides care for ages 18 months-5 years old. Our daycare programs are developmental with a daily curriculum that aligns with NYS Early Learning Standards. Likewise, our daycares have a gross motor room where children can exercise and play when they are not able to go outside. Several of our daycare centers also include a school-age program, so your 5-12 year old can attend before or after school, during vacation camps and summer camps!

How do I enroll?
Parents typically start with a phone call or by completing our tour request form after signing up for an account. Once a decision is made to enroll, parents will do so on our secure website using the daycare page. The two week deposit will be added to your account once a registration is filed.
Do we pay our weekly fee if we take a vacation?
Yes, you must pay each week, regardless of whether the child is in the program.
When do transitions occur?
Children are placed in Infant Room 1 for about 12 months and then move into Infant Room 2 for roughly 12 to 18 months. They spend roughly eight months in the early toddler room and then eight months in the older toddler room. They complete their journey in the pre-school room from ages 3 to 5.
Is there a nap time?
Yes. Each classroom has its own nap schedule.
Are children potty-trained?
Yes, each classroom has a bathroom, and potty training is encouraged and assisted.
Are the staff members all screened for the safety of the kids?
Yes. All staff submit multiple clearances as required by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services.
How many instructors or staff members do you have at a site? What’s the ratio?
Ratios vary per class. In this daycare group it is 1:4 for infants, 1:5 for toddlers and 1:7 for pre-school.
Do you have part-time-care options?
In some daycare locations we do offer part time. Inquire within.
Do you accept DSS and WDI and Childcare Aware?
Yes, we work with local counties in their provision of government subsidies for families in need. We also work with the Childcare Aware program so veterans can take advantage of those governmental subsidies.
