Kiley Costello
Hi there! My name is Kiley Costello, and I'm going on my sixth year of working at the TSL Early Childhood Program as the pre-school lead teacher.
I grew up in Troy and worked for a home-based day care service throughout high school. It was at that time I realized I wanted to work with children. After high school I attended Hudson Valley Community College, where I received my associate degree in early childhood education. Much of the foundation that I was taught at HVCC, I still use today in my classroom. I then attended Saint Rose College and graduated with a bachelor's degree in early childhood education. During my student teaching at Sacred Heart School in Troy, I was fortunate to meet Tom Styles, who was opening an early childhood program in Guilderland. I applied for the position, and the rest is history! My hobbies include spending time with my fiance and my family and spending hours browsing Pinterest for my latest DIY project or to find ideas for our classrooms weekly theme. I love waking up each morning excited to go to work and know I have a job where not only am I shaping the minds of 3- and 4-year-old children, but where I find myself learning and growing with each passing year! |
