I grew up in Roxbury, N.J., and after graduating from high school, I received a soccer scholarship to West Chester University, where I studied studio art. My journey in education began at The College of Saint Rose, where I received a master's degree in childhood education. I obtained my degree in special education at Grand Canyon University.
I started working for TSL’s after-school program while I was working in the special education field, and I proceeded to work for TSL’s summer camp. After my first summer-camp experience, I was offered the opportunity to take on the Assistant Director position for the newly developed early childhood program in Guilderland. As the program began to grow, I took on the Directorship role and have been a part of the TSL family ever since.
I enjoys many outdoor activities, but my favorite is Alpine skiing. In fact, I was a ski instructor for five years at Jiminy Peak, where I received my PSIA (Professional Ski Instructor of America) certification. I also enjoy playing soccer, painting, and making jewelry. My biggest loves of all are my 2 beautiful children who also attend the TSL program.
