Hi! I’m Angie Fernandez, or Miss Angie to the kids. I’m the site supervisor at Abram Lansings.
This site is special to me in particular as I went through Lansings when I was growing up. It makes me so happy to be able to give kids the opportunity to have a safe space to go in a place that’s so close to my heart.
I’m also a student, studying to be an English teacher. Education and childcare in general are fields where we desperately need people who are passionate and care about kids. I want to be a positive role model to the children I get to work with and make sure they know they always have a safe space to go as long as I’m around.
When I’m not at TSL I love to read and write. Some of my favorite books include the Harry Potter series, Red Rising by Pierce Brown and The Princess Saves Herself in This One by Amanda Lovelace.
