I just wanted to send a letter of thanks and praise to you for your Summer Arts & Education Program at St. Helen’s School. When I got wind of your program I thought it would be a terrific opportunity for my son Alex, 13, who you taught in 2005/2006, to garner some skills in working with younger children. I knew, based on our experience with you as an educator, that the content and direction of the program would be exceptional.  My hunch was correct.

During my son’s two weeks as a counselor in training he was able to work with a variety of children in different settings. He saw first hand the coordination and structure that is needed to conduct a camp like yours. He was involved in the day-to-day operation, which was a great learning tool for him. I think it gave him confidence in his ability to teach and lead. I know he looks forward to working with you again in 2009."
